My New Zealand trip was totally unforgettable. It was really really fun. Went round the whole south island. Did my first bungee jumping, first luge ride, first jetboating, first rafting and first skiing experience. First time walking on glacier, first time biting glacier ice. Walking on the world's steepest street. It was really really fun. June 2008.

My second time to Australia, with the SA canoeing team. It was fun going overseas with your team, everybody just hanging around each other. Paddling in the winter water, without life jacket. Warming up in the team's windbreaker but the body still feeling cold. Nice! December 2008.

My second time to Taiwan as well. This was for military training. It was a time where training was fun, spending the whole time with everyone you trained hard with. It was like a big big family, looking out for each other, or just horsing around. November 2010.

My most recent trip, a vacation to Hainan. First time to China, it was really an eye-opener. Was really nice relaxing after months of non-stop hard work. Worth the time because the pace of life is really different than that in Singapore; you can really relax. July 2011.

And it seems that I fancy going to places that happen to be islands. So maybe Bali next?
